Why come to GECCO as a student?
GECCO offers a unique opportunity to increase your career profile by learning, competing, and publishing. Tutorials provided at no cost to conference attendees and competitions are unique to GECCO. Furthermore, attached to the conference is the Summer School, taking place just before the conference, allowing you to learn related skills ranging from research (e.g., reproducibility) to applications (e.g., modeling problems)!
If you need help in finding your place at GECCO or on student related activities and opportunities, do not hesitate to contact Giorgia Nadizar (giorgia.nadizar@irit.fr) and José Manuel Muñoz (mane9986@gmail.com), to support you on the way. Please specify GECCO 2026: Student in the subject line.
